Who is responsible
The publisher of Sonro, a sole proprietor whose registration is in progress (see the legal notice), reachable at [email protected].
What Sonro collects
- Your email address, when you request access on sonro.io, with the chosen plan and your language. It is used to send you your access link, and Sonro news only if you ticked the box. One-click unsubscribe in every email.
- Google / YouTube account: channel name and picture, and an access token that lets Sonro upload, schedule and edit videos at your request. Sonro never sees your password.
- Your files: beats, images, clips, audio tags. They are only used to make your videos (see "Retention and deletion").
- Your settings: presets, title and description templates, upload history (for the calendar and statistics).
- Videos already on your channel: only if you accept importing them into the calendar; you can remove them at any time.
- Payment: handled by Stripe; Sonro never sees your card.
Google and YouTube data
Sonro uses YouTube API Services. By linking your channel, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; the Google Privacy Policy also applies.
- What Sonro reads from Google: your name, email address and profile picture (for your Sonro account); your playlists (to add your videos to them); the status, title, thumbnail and view count of your videos (for the calendar and statistics), and the list of your channel's videos if you choose to import it.
- What Sonro does on YouTube, only at your request: upload a video, schedule it, edit its title, description, tags or date, set its thumbnail, add it to a playlist, delete it.
- Refresh: information read from YouTube is refreshed at least every 30 days; if your channel is no longer connected, it is deleted.
- Sharing: this data is never sold, never used for advertising and never shared with anyone, except the technical providers below that process it to run Sonro.
- Revoking access: at any time from your Google account permissions. Deleting your Sonro account also revokes access at Google.
Sonro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
- Beat, image and clips sent for a video: deleted as soon as the video is uploaded to YouTube, and at the latest 7 days after being sent to Sonro (time to retry after an error or wait for the YouTube quota).
- Video created without uploading it to YouTube: downloadable for 7 days, then deleted.
- What you save in a preset (image, tag): kept until you delete the preset or your account.
- Access request email: kept until your account opens, or deleted on request, and at the latest 3 years after our last exchange.
- Deleted account: all your data is erased within 30 days.
Your other data is kept as long as your account exists. In "My account", you can download all your data or delete your account: presets, history and settings are then erased, and access to your channel is revoked. Videos already published on YouTube stay on your channel.
Your rights
